Can I obtain cover for exposure to asbestos risks?
At the moment, the market is particularly concerned about asbestos exposure. As a result, many insurers are reluctant to provide cover. However, in our opinion, it is not correct to suggest that blanket asbestos exclusions for Consulting Engineers are standard. Depending on the nature of the services undertaken, an element of cover can often be provided, often with little or no additional premium.
